6.0 x 120 KTX Gold Premium Professional Woodscews

KTX woodscrews have a specially developed and patented head recess that offers significant advantages to other screw recesses. The stick-fit head will take KTX, Pozi, Square and Philips screw bits and has a deeply recessed head for good engagement with the screw bit. This ensures no wobbling or head slippage and minimum damage to the head recess from use.

The screws are double countersunk with four angled ribs for a smooth finish, preventing splitting and material damage whilst ensuring a close-to-edge fixing.

They have a very sharp starting point for fast penetration, eliminating the need for pilot holes or pre-drilling and are precision manufactured with a TYA-17 curved cut and helical coarse cut thread. Making them ideal for hardwood, softwood, MDF, plywood, Chipboard, and composite applications.

They are made from C1022 heat-treated hardened steel for improved strength and have a lubricated coating for ease of entry into the timber. They are also spray-tested beyond 400 hours to ensure increased corrosive resistance.

KTX Gold also have a high sheer strength:

M3.0 = 3.4KN, M3.5 = 4.1 KN, M4.0 = 5.1KN, M4.5 = 6.2KN, M5.0 = 7.3KN, M6.0 = 10.5KN

All screws are accompanied by a 50mm hardened steel KTX bit suited for impact, hammer/drill, and drill drivers.

All M3.0 use KTX No.1 bit, all M3.5 – M5.0 use KTX No.2 bit and all M6.0 use KTX No.3 bit.
