Estate Treated Softwood Field Gate
Description
Our estate gates are impressive 5-bar gates due to their extended curved hanging stile, making them a striking entrance to any driveway.
They have a tapered top bar, mortice, and tenon joints strengthened by a diagonal brace.
*Gates under 4f” 6″ will not have the extended brace on them*
They are made from green pressure-treated planed timber.
However, we sell self applicated treatment products and paints that will cover the gate to make them any colour you wish.
Please remember when measuring your gate to allow a 100mm” (4″) gap for hanging and to keep to imperial measurements.
These gates are also available in hardwood, and bespoke sizes can be ordered.
Sizes available:
3ft, 4ft, 5ft, 6ft,7ft,8ft,9ft, 10ft, 11ft, and 12ft widths
We recommend:
5″ x 5″ gate posts for smaller pedestrian gates of 3 or 4 feet wide.
6″ x 6″ gate posts for field gates from 4 feet to 7 feet.
7″ x 7″ gate posts for field gates from 7 feet to 12 feet.
8″ x 8″ gate posts for field gates from 12 feet to 14 feet.
