Powder Mortar Tone

Cromar Powder Mortar Tone is a permanent powder colourant for pigmenting all mortars, rendering, pointing and concrete.

This product contains high-quality oxide pigments, so you’ll get an excellent permanent shade.

When you add the powder to your mix, the pigments disperse quickly, giving you the exact tone you want. Simply alter the dosage to produce darker or lighter effects.

To produce full-strength colour, use 1/2kg Powder Mortar Tone to 10kg of cement. Reductions in the amount of Powder Mortar Tone used will reduce colour strength.

Add colour to the dry mix and disperse before adding clean water. To achieve consistency of colour in each mix, use the same grades of cement, sand and aggregates.

Iron oxide pigments conform to BS EN 12878:2014.
